His role is to plan and commission articles across Future's websites about how to watch popular sports and entertainment shows wherever our readers are trying to tune in from. That includes helpful and detailed information on where to find the best streaming service subscription offers and how to sign up for and use a VPN for viewing, where appropriate.
Dan's writing career began after life as a professional actor. He started blogging about football between jobs and quickly found editorial a more attractive option. Shortlisted for Metro's Blog of the Year prize, he switched to journalism full-time and got into the world of consumer tech with Shiny Media's TechDigest where he eventually became editor. Over the next 10 years Dan worked for Pocket-lint, MSN Tech, Wareable and What Hi-Fi? and has kept up his love of performing with appearances as a tech expert on BBC news and Sky News, and across BBC radio too, including most notable BBC Asian Network where Dan was the resident gadget expert for three years.
Dan has a keen interest in playing and watching football. He has also written about it for the Observer and FourFourTwo, and ghost authored John Toshack's autobiography, Toshack's Way. He also has a masters in creative writing and has written a fair few short stories. You won't find them on TechRadar, though.
