Keskihintainen Nvidia GeForce RTX 2070 saapuu myyntiin lokakuun 17. päivä

Nvidia vahvisti julkaisevansa GeForce RTX 2070:n lokakuun 17. päivä.

Olemme tienneet jo entuudestaan, että Nvidia aikoo julkaista keskihintaisen näytönohjaimensa lokakuun aikana, mutta nyt yhtiö varmisti päivämäärän virallisessa twiitissään.

GeForce RTX 2070 on edullisin Nvidia Turing -arkitehtuuria hyödyntävä näytönohjain. Meillä ei ole vielä tiedossa perusmallin eurohintaa (Yhdysvalloissa 499 dollaria), mutta kalliimman Founders Editionin lähtöhinta on Suomessa on 659 euroa.

GeForce 2070:ssä on 2 304 CUDA-ydintä ja 8 gigatavua GDDR6-videomuistia. Näytönohjaimen peruskellotaajuus on 1 410 megahertsiä ja vahvistettu kellotaajuus 1 620 megahertsiä (Founders Editionissa 1 710 MHz).

Nvidia ei ole vielä paljastanut, kuinka paljon parempi RTX 2070 on edeltäjiinsä: GTX 1070:een ja 1070 Ti:hin verrattuna. Ainakin testaamiemme RTX 2080:nja 2080 Ti:n perusteella tämä Turing-pohjainen näytönohjain päihittänee aiemmat Pascal-näytönohjaimet leikiten.
