It's not just a new hero being added to Overwatch 2 in Season 6. The other big change comes in the form of story missions. In Overwatch 2: Invasion, you and your friends will take on three missions that take place in Rio de Janeiro, Toronto and Gothenberg. These each feature in-depth storylines, where you'll fight off Null Sector while completing objectives. Here's an overview on what else is coming in Season 6:

  • New co-op event: Bonus co-op mission on King's Row.
  • Flashpoint mode: PvP core game mode featuring two new locales. Fight for control of key positions called flashpoints.
  • Hero Mastery mode: Training courses specifically designed for each select hero. Global leaderboards to compete on.
  • New battle pass: New Mythic skin for Tracer
