Intel Core i7-1195G7 fa tremare AMD Ryzen 9 5950X nei benchmark

Intel Core i7-1195G7 sta comparendo di frequente tra i risultati dei benchmark Geekbench 5 con punteggi che fanno letteralmente spalancare gli occhi.

Come scrive VideoCardz, Intel Core i7-1195G7 è progettato per i portatili leggeri e sottili, ma i benchmark single core pongono la CPU Tiger Lake sullo stesso livello di molti processori desktop tra cui Core i5-11600K e persino il top di gamma AMD Rzyen 9 5950X.

Più nello specifico, i punteggi ottenuti da Intel i7-1195G7 nei benchmark single core vanno da 1,662 a 1,700 punti, con una media di 1,680 che li pone in diretta competizione con le CPU Intel Rocket Lake e con i Ryzen 5000 desktop di AMD.

Va però sottolineato che i suddetti punteggi sono stati ottenuti a frequenze elevate (4,987 MHz) che non sarebbero sostenibili in caso di uso giornaliero.

CPU spinte al limite

Anche se i benchmark di Intel Core i7-1195G7 CPU sono impressionanti, come abbiamo detto, per ottenere questi risultati il processore è stato spinto al massimo. Tuttavia per raggiungere tali frequenze è necessaria una quantità di energia molto elevata che non rispecchia le prestazioni della CPU in un contesto domestico. 

Per questo il punteggio single Core, per quanto impressionante, non può essere indicativo delle prestazioni della CPU Intel dato che non rappresenta un valore riscontrabile nell'uso quotidiano. I benchmark come questo (e molti altri presenti su Geekbench) vengono effettuati per verificare la tolleranza massima dei processori, piuttosto che le reali prestazioni.

Detto questo Intel Core i7-1195G7 è una CPU molto interessante, ma dovremo attendere il suo arrivo sul mercato per potervi fornire dei dati sulle sue reali prestazioni.
