While Ramadan is mostly associated with fasting it's equally about the importance of giving back to the community. There are many ways to donate meals, clothes and resources if you know where to look but trustworthy options can be tricky to find.

Talabat wants to simplify that process by giving users a convenient way to donate to trustworthy charities directly on the app. You can either redeem Talabat rewards points towards donations or pay directly to charities listed on the 'Give Back' section under 'Top Picks' on the app.

Through Talabat rewards, you'll be able to redeem points towards Dubai Care's school meal project that helps pay for weekly meals for children or United Nation's initiative to aid refugees in the Middle East with essential food supplies.

On the 'Give Back' page you'll be able to donate to three major charities in various amounts. The World Food Programme helps children in the Middle East with donation options for as little as AED 2 to help feed a child for a day and AED 63 to feed a child for a month.

Ramadan Heroes is a great campaign helmed by Dubai Culture who've partnered with Emirates Red Crescent Authority and UAE Food Bank to distribute Ramadan meals and supplies to those in need across the UAE. You can donate AED 15 to buy Ramadan iftar meals for those in need or pay between AED 250 - 500 to buy grocery staples that helps families with basic food needs for a month.

Lastly, you can support UAE's incredible 1 Billion Meals initiative that delivers food supplies to vulnerable communities in 50 countries. Donate as little AED 10 to buy a food parcel containing essential food staples to make 10 meals or up to AED 500 to donate food staples enough for 500 meals.
