If you know your laptops, you’ll know that the bezel-less design that we see in most laptops nowadays was introduced by Dell on the XPS13 back in 2015. Dell has made improvements every year and we’re looking at what has changed in this latest edition.

From a design point of view, the Dell XPS 13 is beautifully crafted from a single sheet of aluminium, and features a Carbon fiber palm rest. The aluminium case makes it a lot stronger than the plastic casing seen on other laptops.

The laptop comes in two types, a non-touchscreen model and a 2in1 touchscreen model. We're looking at the touchscreen model which comes with a 11 th generation Intel core i7 processor, 16GB RAM, 512GB SSD and up to 32GB RAM with 1TB SSD and Intel Iris Xe Graphics

The XPS 13 features an Eyesafe display, which helps to reduce harmful blue light while maintaining vivid colors. This leads to less stress for your eyes when using the laptop for longer periods of time.

The InfinityEdge display also has great visibility with an amazing screen to body ratio  of 91.5%. And despite the small bezels, Dell has managed to put an infrared camera on the top bezel which is great for video chats and secure login using Windows Hello.

The latest edition of XPS 13 is also the first-ever laptop featuring Waves Nx 3D audio for speakers, which have been tuned by multi-Grammy Award winning producer, Jack Joseph Puig. So whether you’re in a video call, watching a movie or listening to your favorite tunes, the audio on the Dell XPS 13 is going to sound fantastic.
