Biostar this week unveiled a new GPU featuring the AMD Radeon RX 6400, ideally targeted to ITX PC builds. It features core AMD tech such as AMD Infinity Cache memory technology, 4GB of high-speed GDDR6 memory and a boost clock of 2321 Mhz. It also supports Microsoft Windows 11 and Microsoft DirectX 12 Ultimate, AMD FidelityFX Super Resolution (FSR) and AMD Radeon Super Resolution (RSR) upscaling technologies.

The card itself is very compact, and its half-height form-factor is great for small-profile ITX builds. Outfitted with a single-slot axial fan and heatsink combination, the graphics card is optimized to deliver incredible 1080p gaming in a compact design, without requiring beefy system specifications. In fact, this GPU doesn’t require a power supply, as it draws all of its necessary power from the PCIe lane.

But don’t expect this card to offer bleeding-edge graphics in the latest AAA games. The AMD Radeon RX 6400 is best for 1080p gaming, and that too with medium to low settings enabled. Connectivity-wise it’s got one HDMI port and one DisplayPort, so you also need to manage your multi-monitor expectations.

Pricing has yet to be announced, but we’re expecting this GPU to be priced at under $200, making it a great pick for budget-friendly builds.
