The Apple Developer Academy in Riyadh — Apple’s first coding institution in the Middle East region, launched in partnership with the Saudi Federation for Cyber Security, Programming, and Drones.

The Academy is represented by Tuwaiq Academy and Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University, the world’s largest women’s university - is now taking applications for the next class of students.

The Academy helps female developers and entrepreneurs build a foundation for a career in the app economy, and supports the country's broader efforts around women empowerment and opportunity.

Apple Developer Academy Applications are open now

The Academy is set to graduate its first class of women this summer after opening its doors for in-person learning back in February. Riyadh's Apple Developer Academy is located inside Princess Nourah University Campus which is considered the largest women’s university in the world.

The Academy offers both a 30-day Foundations introductory course along with the nine-month intensive Academy program that dives deeper into coding and professional skills. Courses teach coding, tech, design, and professional skills such as problem-solving and cross-discipline communication.

Applications are open to all students across the region, and the Apple Developer Academy is offered at no cost.
